Dear Guests, please note,

to protect the privacy of our Guests, we do not allow any extra people or visits at Retreat. Only Guests who are staying can be on premises.

Any extras or services used at Retreat, will be settled in cash only (no credit card payments are accepted at premises).  

Smoking is highly prohibited.

Ways to Pay

Booking can be completed via our secure website with your card or via bank transfer.

Payment

PLEASE NOTE !!!!!!

Dear Guests, during the booking process you can either pay in full (in this case book the full stay) or pay 1 night as a non-refundable deposit for your chosen property.  In this case, please kindly just book the first night of your stay and in the comments field on the booking form write how many nights or the dates you wish to stay in total so we can block out remaining nights on the calendar to secure them for you. 
The outstanding amount is to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.

No-show/cancellation policy

If booking has been cancelled before 8 weeks prior to arrival – 1 night deposit will be kept by us.

If booking has been cancelled after 8 weeks prior to arrival – 1 night deposit + 100% of the outstanding amount will be kept by us.

 

Behaviour

To respect the privacy and rest of other guests, please keep noise to a minimum throughout all shared areas of Retreat, refrain from listening to loud music by the swimming pool or at your Casa etc.

Please note if you wish for your friends or family to visit you during your stay at Retreat, please check with us first. Retreat is a private estate so for safety and privacy of other guests staying with us we do ask you to provide us with prior notice regarding the arrival of any third party. Thank you for your understanding.

BBQ

During the summer months, due to the very high incidence of fires in our area, the local government prohibits open fires.

Arrival

The normal check-in time is from 2p.m. until 10 p.m. on the day of arrival (if you have a late flight, please check with us before booking)
If you arrive earlier the property may be occupied so during this period you may relax by the pool until your property is ready for you. If necessary bags may be left at the property before it is ready for occupancy. If you wish you can visit a few local cafes or enjoy a light lunch in the local Venta.

Departure

Check-out time is 11 a.m.

Trouble-shooting

Although we regularly inspect the properties, from time to time unforeseen problems may occure. Certain items such as cutlery, crockery, glassware, light bulbs, linen and towels, sun-beds and minor electrical appliances may have been broken or removed by previous guests without our knowledge.
That’s why it is very important for you to report any missing or damaged inventory items to our staff as soon as possible, which will enable us to replace or repair the item within a reasonable timescale.

Water shortages and Pressure

In high season the water shortages and pressure reductions may occasionally occur and supplies may be cut off without notice. We cannot be held responsible if this is beyond our control. Our technician service always does everything in their power to fix these problems.

 

Due to weather conditions, DDG Retreat is closed from 1st of November till 1st of April.
